Request an Illustration Quote

Every book is quoted individually, because the work depends on how many characters there are, how detailed the backgrounds need to be, and how the artwork is split between spreads and spots. Fill in what you know and we’ll come back with a firm quote, usually within one business day.

Only the fields marked • are required. Everything else just helps us quote faster — leave anything you haven’t decided.

1 · The book

Picture books are usually 24, 32 or 40 pages.

2 · The illustrations

A spread runs across two facing pages. A full page fills one. A half page sits above or below text. A spot is a small illustration with no background, dropped into a text page. Estimates are fine.

Questions about the quote

What happens after I send this form?

It reaches the studio inbox. You get a firm quote and a timeline back within one business day, Monday to Friday.

Does the manuscript have to be finished?

No. Send what you have. A draft, a page count and an age group are enough to start the conversation; if you do not have all of that yet, send what exists and we will tell you what else we need.

Can I hire through Upwork instead?

Yes. Amna holds Top Rated Plus status on Upwork with a 100% Job Success Score, and we take contracts there for authors who would rather work through escrow. Bank transfer, PayPal and Wise are the alternatives.

Is the quote fixed once you send it?

The quote holds for the work it describes. If the scope changes — more characters, more pages, a second cover — the price changes with it, and we tell you what the difference is before any of it is drawn.
